The 3 of them ordered dinner and had a couple of more drinks. They decided afterwards to continue the evening at a near by bar. They reminisced, laughed and had a couple of more drinks of course. Sheila hadn’t seen her sister look this good nor enjoy herself this much in a long time. She finally realized why, Michael was part of her sister’s unhappiness and had been for a while. Sheila’s reality was making her her uncomfortable and upset, she wanted to talk to her sister.
You guys, this has been a really amazing evening but I think Chante and I better call it a night. Chante looked at her watch and gasped my goodness, Sheila you’re right, I didn’t realize it was so late. Bryan looked at his watch, wow it is late but its been a great evening. Come on let’s get you ladies back to the restaurant. Sheila I would love it if you and Chante would let me take her home. “What”, Bryan no way, I got my sister, I’ll take her home. Sheila I know, but I would feel better if I knew you only had one stop to make since you have been drinking and I really don’t mind.

Sheila was glad they weren’t too far from the restaurant, she knew he had a point but she promised her sister and she was not about to ruin the evening and make Chante uncomfortable. Chante please let me take you home, I just want to make sure you and your sister make it home safely. I would be a nervous wreck waiting for both of you to call me and let me know you made it home and I do mean both of you. Chante looked at Bryan and she saw the look of worry in his eyes. Bryan I don’t want to put you out, Sheila can drop me off. She was a little worried now after what he said. Please Chante, I don’t mind.
She gave in after that, ok Bryan if it’s ok with my big sis. Sheila laughed and hunched her shoulders ok but Chante you better call me when you get in front of your house and Bryan you better do the same or I’m going to kill you both. Sheila quickly got in the back seat, making Chante ride up front, but Chante didn’t seem to mind. Bryan pulled beside Sheila’s car and they both got out, Chante hugged her sister and kissed her, I love you sis, love you too Sheila said and they watched her get in the car and take off. So where to madam, Chante called at the address as Bryan typed it into his GPS.
The conversation between them was comfortable, not strained, they laughed and shared memories. When Bryan pulled up, he got out of the car and rushed around to open her door. You didn’t have to that she said, I know I didn’t but as gorgeous as you look tonight, you deserve it and some. She smiled and thanked him. “Chante”, yes she said as he walked her to the door, I have really enjoyed tonight, just being in your presence. She smiled even harder, thanks Bryan, actually I have enjoyed tonight too. I’ve’ really missed you, I just never knew how to tell you how I felt. Chante looked at Bryan, she felt feelings surfacing that she realized she had been trying to fight. Bryan, I, she stammered, it’s ok you don’t have to say anything.
Bryan grabbed her hand and looked in her eyes, I have always loved you. When I saw the ring on your finger I was hurt but I recovered a little like there was hope when you said engaged. I was happy he left tonight, I had you all to myself and I felt like the luckiest man alive for the rest of the night. He leaned in and kissed Chante and he pulled back ready to duck before she could slap him but he saw she was shocked. He found this as the perfect opportunity to continue with shock and aw.
Bryan gently pulled her to him by her waste and leaned in and kissed her. Chante still in shock but now acknowledging her feelings tried very little to pull away. Her body responded to him and molded in to his body. She kissed him back and decided to let herself go. They enjoyed the most sensual, emotional hug and kiss she had felt in a long time. It was chemistry that was like no other, one she didn’t have with her future husband. Chante pulled away, Bryan I, she stammered again. I’m sorry, she finally got the words out. I’m not he said, I know you are engaged but you’re not married yet. I understand and I don’t want to add any more pressure to you right now. We were young and we never had a chance to see
Chante turned and unlocked her door, I, I, “is it ok if I call you,” Bryan cut her off. He didn’t want to hear what she was trying to say in case she was going to reject him. Yes, and she gave him her phone num, he leaned in and kissed her, “good night beautiful he said”. She watched him walk to his car and then she went inside, when she closed the door behind her, she just stood there for a moment. She couldn’t believe what just happened. “Oh no”! Now she wants to have a reality check, “what am I going to do”.
