Patricia shook her head and thought to her self trouble don’t last always.

God keeps telling me to get ready!  She thought, He often shows me signs and wonders and I hear the question clearly “Are you ready”?

It seems hard to look forward to things the eye cannot see, but faith is the substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things not seen(Hebrews 11:1).

Patricia had been going through so much she felt her faith was being tested on every turn.  She was fasting and praying more to regain peace.    (fasting as it relates to prayer is the spiritual atomic bomb that our Lord has given us to destroy the strongholds of evil)

The other night Patricia had a dream that she was fired from her job but they didn’t tell her.  They were taking people into the office to tell them about being promoted because they had corporate visitors on site.   Patricia dreamed they thought she had fell asleep and but when she explained she wasn’t sleeping they didn’t believe her.   She wasn’t called into the office for a promotion meeting and she received her check in the mail instead of direct deposit.  Which with her company meant you had been terminated.

Patricia woke abruptly and calmed her anxiety by praying.  She prayed and asked God to prepare her for change, she asked God to allow her to be able to leave the job instead of being termed.  She prayed and asked God to prosper her and provide peace.  She felt calmed and fell back asleep.  When she woke again it was time to get up for work and she prayed again.  This time she prayed and thanked God.  She didn’t have the anxiety she normally has over these types of dreams, she refused to panic, she had to remind herself as she reminds others, “let go and let God”.

Patricia was starting to feel that God was preparing her and she could feel the change coming in her life.  Although she may not be ready now she felt through faith and obedience when the time comes she will be ready.

Ask yourself is God preparing you for something greater, could that be why he has moved you?  Is God getting you ready for something greater!  When you ask the question, what is your answer?
