Joy is what I have right now. The devil has been busy trying to steal my joy since my blog post yesterday. I refuse to let him win, I can’t go backwards. I have seen what it’s like to not have the type of joy that God can give.
Life can be very difficult at times. If we trust and believe in God and we live our lives accordingly life can be much more enjoyable. I have to admit my own human imperfections have caused me to live life difficultly at times. I always say; the things we go through in life are because of the decisions that we make. Good or bad we need to be responsible for what causes joy or what causes pain in our lives when we make the wrong or the right decisions.
We have choices and when we make a choice to stay in a toxic relationship or we choose to stay with someone unfaithful or we choose to accept someone mistreating us, it’s still our choice. Because of those choices we encounter pain and hurt.
Well why not choose to live life without going through difficulties that can be avoided. Yes it can be harder than it sounds when you don’t have a relationship with God. There can be times where you cannot understand that pain you are going through or the it can be more difficult than you can handle alone. When you have that relationship with God he can provide discernment for any situation and you will never be alone.
I choose God; I choose to be inspired, I choose to be empowered and I choose to live my life with the joy God has placed in my heart.
The Joy I feel the world didn’t give and the world can’t take it away.
